Since 1999, Stéphane Guétin, music therapist and Doctor in Clinical Psychology, has been involved in the evaluation of music therapy through the realization of numerous clinical researches presented and published in international scientific congresses and journals. In partnership with the CHRU of Montpellier (Inserm U1061) and Professor Jacques Touchon, specialist in Alzheimer's disease, he develops innovative solutions in music therapy in order to effectively relieve pain, anxiety and depression of hospitalized patients. He created the company MUSIC CARE, which won the IC Care Innovation Award (Initiative to Care) in 2009 and was nominated at the Victoires de la Médecine in 2010 in the 'Neurology' category. Today, MUSIC CARE makes individualized music therapy sessions available to all patients following a standardized scientific protocol that meets international scientific recommendations.
